How it works, methodology and buyer protections

Turn your historical article-level advertising reports into clearer editorial research—while keeping your private publisher performance separate from public keyword data.

JustGroupLink Research, operated by Zileth Limited, is developing a publisher research environment where bloggers and digital publishers can study their own historical Google Ad Manager and eligible Google AdSense reports, identify patterns that deserve closer investigation, and compare those findings with independently researched keyword opportunities. The purpose is to improve the quality of research decisions, not to forecast guaranteed earnings.

Current availability: This page explains the intended service and the features represented in our research software. The private CSV upload capability may be disabled while configuration, security review, eligibility checks or testing continue. Public explanations remain accessible; uploading or purchasing is available only when the corresponding function has been activated on the official website. No direct Google Ad Manager or AdSense API account connection is required or represented here.

1. What is Publisher eCPM Intelligence?

Publisher eCPM Intelligence is a private, evidence-led reporting and topic-discovery service designed around a publisher’s own historic article-level advertising data. Instead of guessing what a new article might earn based on a high advertiser CPC, it starts with permitted past performance records and asks: which subjects have shown repeatable monetization characteristics, under what conditions, and what new reader-relevant articles might be worth researching?

The service has two distinct sides: historical publisher reporting, based on an eligible manually uploaded CSV, and fresh keyword research, based on separately obtained advertiser-side and search-demand evidence. Their data types and purposes remain different. A match between them is a research lead, not a direct formula converting search CPC into publisher eCPM.

2. Who is this service designed for?

  • Independent bloggers who want to understand the patterns in articles they have already monetized.
  • Website publishers with historical article or post-level advertising reports and an interest in improving topic planning.
  • Editorial teams and agencies authorized to analyze relevant reporting on behalf of the rightful account holder.
  • Publishers comparing markets who need to keep country, reporting currency and source conditions separate.
  • Researchers and content strategists who prefer documented evidence over screenshots of exceptional eCPM figures.

It is not a method for accessing another publisher’s earnings, extracting Google account credentials, buying private reporting data or predicting guaranteed advertising income.

3. Start with reports you own or are permitted to use

JustGroupLink’s intended import workflow uses manually exported CSV reports. You obtain the report from your own authorized reporting environment and choose whether to submit an eligible copy for private analysis. You remain responsible for ensuring you have permission to download and submit that data, including where an MCM partner, an agency, a client or another rights-holder is involved.

There is no requirement to provide your Google username, password, session cookie, access token, API key or account-management permission. The public service description does not claim a direct Ad Manager or AdSense API integration.

4. What information should an eligible CSV contain?

A useful report identifies the actual article and a specific reporting date, together with compatible ad impressions and revenue. In the current research engine’s private-import design, the required logical fields are an article URL, title or post ID; a daily date; a qualifying ad-impression count; and a corresponding revenue amount. A reported eCPM can be supplied as an optional cross-check.

Field Why it matters Important handling rule
Article URL, article title or post ID Groups a performance record with the correct content item Avoid mixing articles that have similar titles but different identities
Daily report date Allows performance patterns to be checked over time Daily rows are preferable when assessing sustained results
Ad impressions Provides the denominator for impression-based eCPM Must match the selected revenue metric and reporting scope
Publisher revenue Provides the numerator for performance calculations Identify the currency and whether the measure is estimated or final
Reported eCPM (optional) Supports consistency checking against revenue and impressions Differences may indicate an incompatible metric or a malformed export
Source, country and currency Helps avoid combining incompatible reporting contexts These selections must reflect the underlying report, not an assumed audience

Important: A report exported directly from Google will not always contain an article URL or post ID. Article-level reporting requires appropriate underlying tracking, dimensions or publisher-managed attribution. If the report is only by account, date or ad unit, do not relabel it as article-level evidence.

5. How to prepare your CSV before uploading

  1. Sign in to the advertising reporting account you are authorized to use.
  2. Select the appropriate report and the desired date range. For trends, use daily reporting where supported.
  3. Select compatible impressions and revenue measurements from the same source and reporting scope.
  4. Include a reliable article identifier only if your existing tracking/report supports one.
  5. Export the report as CSV and inspect its headers before uploading.
  6. Remove revenue-share percentages, passwords, secrets, API tokens, unnecessary personal data and unrelated columns.
  7. Remove aggregate total rows when the same data is already represented by individual daily rows.
  8. Make sure date, country, currency and publisher account context are understood before submission.

Google Ad Manager supports CSV exports, but the exact export steps, report types and available dimensions may change. If your report cannot be mapped reliably to individual articles, do not invent identifiers or estimated revenue allocations.

6. Sample CSV format for understanding the columns

article_url date impressions revenue ecpm
https://example.com/guide-a/ 2026-09-01 100 9.00 90.00
https://example.com/guide-a/ 2026-09-02 900 45.00 50.00
https://example.com/guide-b/ 2026-09-02 2,000 28.00 14.00

Illustrative values only. This table shows logical report fields, not a claim that Google’s standard exports always use these exact headings. Use a supported country and currency selection in the upload interface, and ensure the values are compatible with that selection. Store private examples locally; do not publish genuine publisher revenue rows on a public web page.

7. What does eCPM really mean?

eCPM (effective cost per thousand impressions) is the revenue associated with one thousand units of the relevant ad-impression measure. In a compatible simple report:

eCPM = (publisher revenue ÷ corresponding ad impressions) × 1,000

For example, if eligible revenue is US $24 and the compatible ad-impression count is 2,000, the resulting eCPM is US $12.00. This figure describes that historical report’s advertising performance. It does not mean every 1,000 article visits generated $12 or that future visitors will produce the same result.

Google Ad Manager contains several eCPM-related measures, with different revenue and impression definitions. Do not combine ad-server revenue with Ad Exchange-only impressions or other mismatched metrics. Use the source metric’s exact definition.

8. eCPM, Page RPM, advertiser CPC and page views are different

Metric What it measures What it does not prove
Publisher eCPM / ad RPM Revenue per 1,000 compatible ad impressions Revenue per 1,000 page views or future article earnings
Page RPM Estimated earnings per 1,000 page views Advertiser keyword CPC or ad impression eCPM
Google Search CPC An advertiser-side paid-search price/estimate for keyword clicks A publisher’s AdSense or AdX earnings per impression
Page views Visits/views counted under the applicable analytics definition The number of displayed ad impressions
Search volume Estimated demand for a search term in a specified market Guaranteed article visitors or ad clicks

One article visit can produce multiple ad impressions, one or none, depending on the page, ad configuration and measurement rules. Consequently, do not convert high keyword CPC into publisher eCPM, or eCPM into Page RPM, without the necessary compatible data.

9. Why a very high first-day eCPM may be misleading

A striking eCPM can reflect a small number of impressions, a particular geographic or device mix, auction variation, a premium advertiser campaign, reporting delay or a short-lived condition. As the article receives more traffic, the audience mix and denominator may change dramatically.

For example, a first period with 100 impressions and $9 revenue shows a $90 eCPM. A second period with 900 impressions and $45 revenue shows $50 eCPM. Taken together, the article generated $54 over 1,000 impressions, producing a $54 combined eCPM. That is not the simple mean of $90 and $50.

A larger sample is useful, but even an apparently stable historical average cannot promise that the next audience or month will monetize at the same rate.

10. The correct way to calculate combined historical eCPM

When the rows are compatible in currency, impression definition, revenue metric and scope, calculate:

Combined eCPM = (sum of eligible revenue ÷ sum of eligible ad impressions) × 1,000

This is mathematically equivalent to an impression-weighted average of row-level eCPMs when the original values and definitions are consistent. It is not a revenue-weighted arithmetic average and is not the unweighted mean of displayed daily eCPMs.

Period Ad impressions Revenue (USD) Period eCPM
Initial 100 $9.00 $90.00
Subsequent 900 $45.00 $50.00
Correct total 1,000 $54.00 $54.00

The same principle applies when combining multiple dates for the same article. Keep different currencies, incompatible impression types and differing revenue scopes in separate comparisons.

11. Initial performance versus sustained performance

JustGroupLink’s private research design distinguishes headline eCPM from sustained historical evidence. It may compare the number of qualifying ad impressions, the number of distinct daily periods and the total compatible publisher revenue for each article.

The Research Engine v3.0 release-candidate dashboard contains three private sorting views: Sustained eCPM, Highest eCPM (250+ impressions) and Most impressions. Its sustained view uses at least 1,000 impressions across at least three distinct report dates as a preliminary ranking eligibility rule. These are software thresholds, not a universal industry definition of statistical confidence, and they require appropriate testing before launch.

A higher impression count and more reporting days generally improve the context for interpretation, but no simple fixed threshold removes seasonality, audience bias or other uncertainty.

12. What the private dashboard is designed to show

When the feature is enabled for your signed-in account and a valid CSV is accepted, the private dashboard is designed to list your articles with their target market, source currency, accepted ad-impression totals, total historical revenue, recomputed eCPM and number of distinct reporting dates.

The intended table is private to the authenticated account. It does not create a public leaderboard of customer earnings. Authorized administrators may require narrowly controlled access for operation, troubleshooting and data-protection requests; readers should consult the Privacy Policy for processing information.

A lack of dashboard results can mean no accepted rows, unavailable functionality or insufficient compatible research data. It does not prove that the publisher’s articles have no commercial value.

13. Article identity and avoiding accidental mixing

Reliable article matching is essential. A generic page-title string, ambiguous post ID or URL altered by tracking parameters can create duplicate or misleading groups. Publishers should use a consistent identifier and ensure their reporting attribution is valid.

Do not combine data from two different articles simply because both discuss insurance, loans or scholarships. Likewise, two different reporting channels may cover the same monetized impression or use different revenue definitions. They should not be added together unless the reporting scopes are demonstrably non-overlapping and compatible.

14. Data quality checks before a report is accepted

A responsible importer should test format and field compatibility, reject prohibited confidential columns, check dates, validate reasonable numeric values and flag conflicting reported eCPM figures. It should also detect exact duplicate uploads and duplicate article/date rows where applicable.

The v3.0 release-candidate CSV handler includes recognized header names, accepted source/currency settings, date parsing, an optional eCPM consistency check and duplicate safeguards. The current implementation also imposes upload size and row limits; customers should follow the limits displayed in the active dashboard rather than assume every exported CSV is eligible.

Some rows may be skipped rather than silently interpreted. An import summary should make the accepted and skipped row counts clear, so a user does not mistake partial acceptance for full historical coverage.

15. Reporting mistakes that can distort eCPM

  • Including a totals row together with daily rows: This double-counts the same impressions and revenue.
  • Mixing USD, GBP, EUR or other currencies: The resulting combined revenue figure is not meaningful without an explicitly supported conversion methodology.
  • Mixing estimated and finalized revenue: Changes in settlement can distort comparisons.
  • Combining ad requests and ad impressions: They are different denominators, even when both appear in a report.
  • Treating a short window as a trend: An eCPM from a few impressions is not a reliable long-term pattern.
  • Assuming an ad unit equals one article: Ad units can appear across many pages unless article attribution is separately supported.
  • Misreading a reporting channel: Ad server, Ad Exchange and total metrics may differ materially.
  • Mistaking negative evidence for an import failure: A valid report showing lower historical performance may still be analytically useful.

16. Finding useful patterns across your own articles

Once compatible article histories exist, a publisher can examine several research questions:

  1. Which article subjects had meaningful impressions over more than one reporting date?
  2. Which content categories maintained more consistent historical eCPM rather than relying on a single spike?
  3. Did comparable articles behave differently across supported audience countries?
  4. Are there outdated articles whose research topics deserve a new, original treatment?
  5. Which subject groups are worth checking against fresh keyword demand and advertiser activity?

These are questions for research, not automated guarantees. Any analysis should preserve the article’s original context, audience and reporting period.

17. From historical topics to original article ideas

Historical performance can help identify a subject family. For example, an eligible publisher may find that several well-supported historical articles about household insurance have performed consistently compared with other categories. JustGroupLink can then investigate new, relevant insurance questions for the intended country using independent keyword research.

It would be inappropriate to simply duplicate old headlines, imitate a competitor’s article, or claim that a new keyword will inherit a previous article’s eCPM. A strong brief should identify actual reader needs, distinguish new topics from existing coverage, provide relevant subtopics and describe source limitations.

The same method can help assess education, careers, travel, technology and finance topics where lawful, useful information is available.

18. How fresh keyword research fits in

Where separately enabled, JustGroupLink’s keyword research uses third-party research data—including DataForSEO where configured—to assess advertiser-side CPC estimates, search demand, geographic context, intent and freshness. The new article recommendations may be matched against the account owner’s private, eligible historical categories.

A matching algorithm should consider subject relevance before high CPC. A topic is not recommended simply because advertisers spend money on a loosely related search phrase. Research output should identify its target market and clearly distinguish a measured historical publisher metric from an estimated search-market signal.

A dashboard may show no confident matches until compatible, sufficiently fresh keyword records have been researched. That is an expected limitation, not a reason to fabricate suggestions.

19. Example: an evidence-led topic planning journey

Imagine a publisher with authorized historical reporting for several articles about renting and household insurance. They export an eligible date-scoped CSV containing article identifiers, compatible ad impressions and matching revenue. The private dashboard groups the records by article and highlights which ones have repeatable reporting evidence.

The publisher then requests current keyword research for a supported country. The system may identify related reader questions such as insurance coverage differences, tenant documentation or common exclusions, depending on the actual source results. A report could propose a new article angle, editorial outline and supporting search terms, with a clear date and research limitations.

This is a hypothetical workflow, not a promise that any particular keyword, CPC, category match or publisher eCPM figure is available now. Local insurance rules and other regulated information require independent editorial verification before publication.

20. Privacy: your article revenue is not a marketplace product

Publisher reporting contains commercially sensitive details. JustGroupLink’s intended privacy-first model keeps each customer’s uploaded article identifiers, historical ad impressions, individual publisher revenue and derived private dashboard results separate from other customers’ accounts.

A marketplace buyer should not receive another publisher’s raw CSV, private article URL, identifiable earnings, revenue-share percentage, login details or account-specific reporting records. Marketplace products, when permitted, should consist of original research deliverables supported by lawfully reusable inputs, not another customer’s disclosed business records.

No technical safeguard should be described as audited or infallible without an actual completed audit. The live implementation, operator access policies and data-retention controls must be verified before enabling public customer uploads.

21. Private uploads are separate from optional contributions

Uploading for your own private analytics is not the same as consenting to commercial reuse. The research design provides an optional, separate choice for whether eligible derived insights may be considered for broader original-topic research.

That choice requires appropriate rights and provider-specific review. A checkbox alone does not override a third-party contract, and even opted-in information must not be released in a form that identifies an individual publisher or exposes confidential earnings. Google Ad Manager, AdSense, partner and client rights may differ and must be checked separately.

Optional contribution does not automatically earn a discount. The proposed one-time 15% reward requires an eligible, unique, validated submission and the separately approved contribution program. Private-only submissions remain a separate permitted use when that service is active.

22. Withdrawal, correction and deletion requests

A contributor may withdraw optional authorization for future shared research use, subject to applicable legal, contractual and technical conditions. In the v3.0 design, the dashboard includes a future-consent withdrawal action. Withdrawal does not automatically delete a customer’s private analytic history or necessarily undo a report lawfully completed before withdrawal.

Publishers should be able to contact JustGroupLink about correcting malformed records, reviewing access, requesting deletion and understanding applicable retention limits. A request may need identity verification and may be subject to legal audit, security or payment-retention obligations.

For these issues, contact admin@justgrouplink.com and consult the published Privacy Policy and Data Contribution Policy.

23. Source rights and third-party reporting restrictions

The right to view a report does not necessarily include unlimited permission to sell, publish, license or reuse the information. Publishers using an MCM arrangement, agency agreement or managed advertising account should understand who owns the relevant business records and which terms govern disclosure.

AdSense reporting and Ad Manager reporting should not be assumed to have identical reuse permissions. A CSV that is suitable for private analysis might still be ineligible for any cross-publisher research program. JustGroupLink must complete provider-specific permission checks before activating that program, regardless of whether the customer has opted in.

24. What this intelligence cannot tell you

Publisher eCPM Intelligence cannot guarantee that a new article will reach any specified eCPM, Page RPM, traffic level, advertising revenue or search rank. It cannot establish which advertisers will bid on a future page, what percentage of visits will monetize or how a monetization partner may change its reporting practices.

Reports depend on data completeness, actual attribution, the number of impressions, audience geography, seasonality, advertising demand, layout, consent signals, ad quality, traffic mix and many other factors. A high historical eCPM should prompt thoughtful review, not a promise of financial returns.

25. Practical checklist before publishing a new article

  • Confirm the subject is genuinely useful to your intended readers.
  • Identify the market and audience, and distinguish current information from historical examples.
  • Verify the search demand, advertiser-side estimates and retrieval date.
  • Review historical publisher evidence only where you have lawful, compatible data.
  • Avoid headlines based on exaggerated earnings, misleading claims or fabricated prices.
  • Confirm regulated details—such as insurance, finance, jobs or immigration—from authoritative current sources.
  • Write original, substantive content rather than reproducing competitor pages or private reports.
  • Monitor later results and update the editorial plan as actual evidence changes.

26. Is the service available without sharing private reports?

Yes. The broader JustGroupLink research concept includes independent keyword research and article-topic planning that do not depend on a publisher uploading earnings files. When the individual public research modules are activated, those may be used according to their own terms and credit requirements.

Historical eCPM analysis is an additional, private and optional way to refine recommendations. It is not a prerequisite for learning about high-CPC keywords or reading our public methodology.

27. Research credits, pricing and failed-search protection

Some advanced research tasks may consume prepaid JustGroupLink research credits when paid operations are enabled. The proposed denomination is 100 credits = US $1 of nominal service purchasing value. Quotes should state the research task and maximum authorized credit charge before a billable operation begins.

Eligible credits may be reserved while research runs; the final charge is settled only for a qualifying delivered service, and unused or failed-service reservations are handled under the published rules. A correctly completed market-feasibility report can be valid even when it identifies weak demand. These are service terms to verify against the live system before activating checkout, not an assurance that every feature is currently enabled.

Read our Pricing, Research Credits and Failed-Search Protection and Refund and Credit Policy.

28. Private publisher dashboard: account access

The WordPress Research Engine v3.0 release-candidate defines a private dashboard shortcode: the registered private publisher dashboard shortcode. When that shortcode is installed as a separate WordPress Shortcode block and the relevant plugin is active, logged-out visitors receive a sign-in invitation. Customers who are signed in but whose CSV access is disabled see an availability notice. When authorized access is enabled, the dashboard can present a private CSV upload form, import messages, historic article metrics and, where available, matched topic suggestions.

Important publishing instruction: Keep this public educational page in its own Custom HTML block. Place the shortcode on a new line in a separate Shortcode block directly below it, rather than including the literal shortcode inside pasted raw HTML. The public page and its permalink remain available even when private imports are disabled.

This separation also means the published page does not require a public upload form, Google login integration or customer data table hard-coded into its HTML.

29. Frequently asked questions

Is this connected directly to my Google Ad Manager account?

No. The intended input is a manually exported, eligible CSV that you choose to upload. JustGroupLink does not require your Google account credentials or claim a live Google publisher-reporting API connection.

Can I use Google AdSense reports as well?

Eligible AdSense CSV histories may be accepted for private analysis where the data fields, rights and reporting definitions are compatible. Commercial reuse must be considered separately and cannot be assumed to be authorized.

Does the report need daily dates?

The v3.0 private import design expects a date field for dated article rows. Daily data supports more meaningful time-series assessment and avoids presenting a single aggregate as evidence of sustained performance.

Can the software analyze a CSV without article identifiers?

Not reliably at article level. A report that contains only ad unit or account totals cannot establish individual article earnings without valid attribution. The importer should not guess which article generated the money.

What if my starting eCPM is $90 and falls to $12 as impressions rise?

This may be a normal effect of small early samples and changes in audience or auction mix. Compare total compatible revenue and impressions across meaningful periods instead of averaging the displayed eCPM values or focusing only on the first few impressions.

Is the highest historical eCPM always the best publishing opportunity?

No. Research must consider sample size, date range, consistency, reader relevance, search demand, keyword intent and source limitations. Higher historical eCPM is not proof that a new article will perform similarly.

Can other customers see my article earnings or CSV?

The intended design restricts a customer’s private dashboard to the account holder and does not publish individual revenue records in marketplace reports. As with any service, actual role permissions and security controls must be verified in the live installation.

Do I have to opt into the contributor program to use private analytics?

No. Private analysis and optional contribution are separate. The proposed contributor reward is not automatic and remains subject to eligibility, permissions and program activation.

Can I withdraw contribution permission later?

The platform design includes a future-use withdrawal control, alongside privacy requests handled through published contact channels. Deletion and historic use are governed by applicable terms and retention obligations.

What if the dashboard does not show my report?

Check whether the research module is activated, whether you are signed in, and whether the import accepted eligible dated article rows. If problems continue, contact support with the date and a non-sensitive error description rather than emailing the complete confidential spreadsheet.
