1. Introduction
JustGroupLink Research (“JustGroupLink”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is a publisher research software service operated by Zileth Limited, a business registered in Nigeria. Our platform provides information about commercial keyword opportunities, article-topic research, historical publisher advertising-performance analysis, and related customer services.
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used when you browse our website, sign in, request research, manage research credits, upload reports or interact with enabled third-party services. It also explains the choices available to you. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text records that websites may place in your browser or device. They can help websites recognize an active session, remember a setting, secure an account, or—where enabled—measure use of a website. A session cookie generally expires when the browser session ends; a persistent cookie remains for a defined period unless removed sooner.
Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, software-development tools and other browser identifiers. Where these technologies store or access information on your device, we assess them under applicable privacy and electronic-communications rules. A cookie may be set by JustGroupLink (first party) or by a service operating through our website (third party).
3. Why cookies may be used on JustGroupLink
Depending on the features you use and the services that are enabled, cookies and related technologies may support:
- Account registration, authentication, login sessions and password-protected dashboards.
- Security checks, prevention of unauthorized requests and protection of customer accounts.
- Remembering accessibility, language, display or consent preferences where configured.
- Reliable operation of research forms, permitted customer sessions and checkout journeys.
- Optional website analytics, testing or marketing tools, only when actually deployed and subject to any required consent.
Not every feature described in this policy is necessarily active at the same time. Our use of cookies may change as the research platform develops; relevant notices and choices should be updated when that happens.
4. Categories of cookies
A. Strictly necessary and security cookies
These support essential website operations, such as authenticating users, maintaining sessions, remembering an essential security choice and protecting accounts. Without relevant necessary cookies, signing in or completing a requested secure transaction may not work correctly. These cookies are not used as a general permission to run non-essential advertising or analytics tracking.
B. Functional and preference cookies
Where enabled, these may remember optional display settings, interface preferences or choices you make on the website. Some preference cookies may be necessary for a feature you expressly request; others require consent depending on their purpose and applicable law.
C. Analytics and performance cookies
If an analytics service is activated, these technologies may help us understand aggregate website usage, such as visits to public pages, navigation patterns, errors and general performance. We will identify the provider and purpose when the tool is deployed and seek consent in jurisdictions where required. Analytics should not be treated as strictly necessary merely because it is helpful to our business.
D. Advertising and marketing cookies
If we introduce advertising, remarketing, conversion measurement or other marketing technologies, they may recognize interactions across pages or services. Such technologies will require suitable disclosure, settings and prior consent where applicable. This paragraph does not state that a particular advertising pixel is currently active.
E. Third-party transaction or embedded-service technologies
When an approved payment provider or embedded external service is active, its checkout page or content may use cookies and related identifiers under its own privacy and cookie notices. The provider, checkout method, available currencies and associated technologies may vary. We do not need your card security code or online banking password to process a research-credit purchase.
5. WordPress cookie examples
JustGroupLink uses WordPress. Depending on your account state, WordPress configuration and enabled features, the following are examples of WordPress cookie names or patterns that may appear:
| Example cookie or pattern | Typical purpose | When relevant |
|---|---|---|
wordpress_test_cookie | Checks whether the browser can accept cookies. | Login-related pages. |
wordpress_logged_in_[hash] | Indicates a signed-in WordPress session. | Registered users. |
wordpress_[hash] or wordpress_sec_[hash] | Supports WordPress authentication and secured administration. | Authenticated users or administrators. |
wp-settings-{user_id} and related preferences | Remembers certain WordPress user-interface preferences. | Primarily signed-in users. |
comment_author_[hash] and related cookies | May remember comment-form details if comments and optional comment cookies are enabled. | Visitors choosing that feature. |
Important: This table is illustrative, not a verified technical inventory of all cookies currently set by justgrouplink.com. Exact names, purposes, providers and retention periods depend on the live WordPress configuration and installed plugins. A live cookie audit is needed to publish a definitive cookie-by-cookie register.
6. Research tools, publisher CSV uploads and cookies
Our keyword research, article recommendations, private research history and customer account screens may require an authenticated website session. When eligible users upload Google Ad Manager or AdSense CSV reports manually, the reports are processed as uploaded documents—not as cookies. The upload process does not require a publisher to provide Google account passwords, revenue-share percentages or access through a direct Google Ad Manager or AdSense API.
Any separate permission for eligible research contribution is distinct from browser cookie consent. Accepting optional cookies does not authorize JustGroupLink to reuse private publisher reports for shared commercial research, and refusing optional cookies does not revoke a separately given research-contribution authorization.
7. Customer registration, credits and purchases
Where customer registration, research-credit balances, private reports and checkout are enabled, necessary session or security technologies may help identify the correct account and protect a requested transaction. Research credits, purchases and refunds are recorded in our server-side systems; browser cookies are not themselves a financial wallet.
Approved payment providers, such as Paystack when enabled, may process payment-related device or security information in their own checkout environments. We aim to keep payment card information with the authorized provider rather than store full card numbers or security codes in our WordPress database. See the relevant payment provider’s notices for its own use of cookies.
8. Cookie consent and our choices
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics, marketing and similar technologies should not be activated until you make an informed, affirmative choice. Essential cookies may operate without separate opt-in when they are genuinely necessary for a service you request.
If an optional-cookie preference banner or settings interface is available on the website, use it to accept, reject or customize the applicable categories. Declining non-essential cookies should not prevent ordinary access to public information, although some optional personalized features may be unavailable.
We aim to distinguish cookie consent from account registration, payment acceptance and optional publisher-data contribution. These are separate choices with separate purposes.
9. How to change your cookie preferences
You can usually review or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Most modern browsers allow you to block third-party cookies, clear stored site data, or remove cookies for a particular website. Instructions vary by browser and device.
If our website provides a cookie-preferences control, you may use that interface to revise optional choices. Where such a control is not available or does not function correctly, contact admin@justgrouplink.com for assistance. Clearing site data may remove your saved cookie choice, and you may be asked to select your preferences again.
Blocking strictly necessary authentication cookies may prevent you from logging in or accessing your private research account.
10. Consent withdrawal
Where processing relies on cookie consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not automatically reverse processing already completed lawfully. Disabling future cookies also may not remove a cookie that was previously stored; use the browser’s deletion options where appropriate.
We should not treat continued browsing, silence or preselected optional choices as affirmative consent in circumstances requiring opt-in.
11. Third-party providers and external links
Our site may link to external payment services, search-data providers, documentation or other third-party websites. A link alone does not necessarily mean that the linked website has set a cookie through JustGroupLink. However, an embedded external service or redirected checkout may process information under its own policies.
We will review the identity and purpose of actually enabled third-party services and update this policy or the cookie preferences interface accordingly. We do not claim that every possible third-party analytics, advertising or payment product is installed.
12. Cookies and international visitors
JustGroupLink Research is operated in Nigeria and may be accessed internationally. Depending on where you live, additional requirements may apply to device storage, cookie consent and personal-information processing, including applicable Nigerian data-protection laws and relevant UK or European privacy rules.
We aim to provide clear information and meaningful choices for non-essential technologies, taking account of the applicable legal requirements and the tools actually used.
13. Data, privacy and security
Some cookies or similar identifiers can be associated with personal information, such as an account session or device identifier. When that occurs, our processing is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
We aim to use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS, appropriate access restrictions and secure handling of authentication sessions. No internet system is completely free from security risks. Users should protect their devices, avoid sharing credentials and sign out of shared computers after using private dashboards.
14. Cookie duration and storage
Cookie lifetimes vary according to their role, WordPress defaults, any plugin or service configuration, and user actions such as signing out or deleting site data. Some cookies last only for a browsing session, while others remain for a configured period to remember a login or preference.
We do not assign invented expiration periods to providers or cookies that have not been verified in a live audit. Before publishing a definitive cookie inventory, we will identify actual cookie names, providers, purposes and expiration periods from the deployed website.
15. Children’s privacy
JustGroupLink’s professional publisher research services are not designed or directed primarily toward children. We do not intentionally use optional marketing cookies to target children. If you believe a child has provided personal information or has been subject to inappropriate tracking through our services, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
16. Your privacy rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding access to personal information, correction, erasure, objection or withdrawal of consent. Cookie preferences are only one aspect of these rights. Please consult our Privacy Policy for broader information and contact routes.
To request assistance with cookie settings or related privacy concerns, email admin@justgrouplink.com with the page or service involved and a description of the issue. Please do not include passwords, full card details, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as website features, plugins, payment providers, consent controls or applicable requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date when this document is revised, and provide additional notice where required. Material changes to optional-cookie purposes may require fresh consent.
