1. Introduction: research should be transparent and fair

JustGroupLink Research helps bloggers and publishers investigate commercial keyword opportunities, evaluate available research evidence and obtain structured article-topic recommendations. Some services require paid research-provider requests or other billable processing.

An external keyword-research provider may charge for processing a request even when the results are limited. This is why our planned protected-credit workflow distinguishes between reserving credits, successfully delivering a report, and finally charging for that report.

This guide explains the intended customer experience and the meaning of successful, incomplete and failed searches. Features described as planned or conditional may not yet be enabled on the website. The applicable checkout quote and our Refund and Credit Policy govern an individual purchase, alongside mandatory consumer protections.

2. What are JustGroupLink research credits?

Research credits are internal, nontransferable units for using eligible JustGroupLink software services. They are intended to simplify research pricing across different tools and research products.

Our approved denomination is 100 research credits = US$1 of nominal retail research service value. One credit therefore represents US$0.01 of service purchasing value. This is a pricing unit, not cash, a dollar deposit, a bank balance, cryptocurrency or a withdrawable digital wallet. Credits cannot be cashed out, sent to another customer or used with unrelated merchants.

Customers purchasing credit packages in naira or another supported currency should see the actual checkout amount, payment currency, credit quantity and charges before authorizing payment. Package prices may be updated as operational costs and permitted payment methods change; previously completed transactions remain recorded at their original terms.

3. What can research credits purchase?

Depending on which features are activated and available to a customer, research credits may be used to purchase:

  • Fresh high-CPC keyword opportunity reports with disclosed filters and minimum deliverables.
  • General keyword or market-feasibility research, including evidence that a niche has weak demand.
  • Premium original article-topic briefs and keyword-cluster analysis.
  • Eligible competitor website research based on permitted data sources.
  • Pre-generated research reports offered through the JustGroupLink marketplace.
  • Optional additional billable analysis services where the customer receives a quote in advance.

A customer should not be charged merely for opening the public homepage, reading free guidance, inspecting their existing wallet history or reopening a report already purchased for the same account. Private CSV uploads and basic historical performance views may be offered free where advertised; additional premium matching or fresh API research may be chargeable.

4. Why we display a research quote before charging

Different research services can have different direct delivery costs. For example, one keyword request may return fewer results than another; a premium report may require additional analysis beyond the initial keyword lookup.

Before a paid request is submitted, our intended checkout should identify the research product, country or market, chosen filters, deliverables, credits to reserve, and maximum authorized charge. It should also state what counts as a qualifying result, whether the report is fresh or pre-generated, and any important data limitations.

The customer must approve the displayed maximum. No additional credits should be deducted beyond that approved maximum without a new, explicit quote and authorization.

5. How we calculate research prices

Our approved commercial benchmark is a normal list-price target of six times the direct delivery cost, with a protected target of at least five times direct cost after an eligible contributor discount. The direct cost base may include the research provider and other billable processing required for that report. Currency conversion and payment processing expenses must also be considered when setting real prices.

The following is an illustrative calculation, not a live product quote:

Example item Amount
DataForSEO provider cost $0.048
Normal service price at 6× $0.288
Normal whole-credit price, rounded upward 29 credits
Eligible 15% contributor discount Approximately 4 credits
Discounted charge, rounded upward 25 credits

The normal 29-credit price is $0.29 of research service value. The discounted 25-credit charge is $0.25, which is still more than five times the example provider cost. Actual research quotes must account for the total direct costs applicable to the purchased product.

The 5× benchmark is an internal pricing objective, not a customer earnings guarantee or a guarantee that the operator never incurs a business loss.

6. What is a temporary credit reservation?

A credit reservation is a temporary hold against a customer’s available credits while an approved research request is being processed. Reserved credits are not yet a finalized purchase charge.

For example, a customer with 500 available credits accepts a quote allowing up to 29 credits. During processing, the customer may see:

Wallet status Credits
Starting available balance 500
Temporarily reserved 29
Available during processing 471

If the qualifying final report costs 25 credits, the four unused credits are released, leaving 475 available credits. If the promised service fails under the disclosed criteria, the entire 29-credit reservation is restored, returning the balance to 500 available credits.

Temporary holds help prevent double-spending, while separate transaction records should track each reservation, final charge and adjustment.

7. What happens when a search succeeds?

A research request is successful when the service delivers and saves a report that meets the minimum description accepted at checkout. It may contain qualifying keywords, an acceptable analysis of a requested market, or another clearly identified research deliverable.

When the report meets its promised requirements, the finalized credit charge may be applied up to the previously accepted limit. The customer should then be able to access the purchased report through their account, subject to normal access and retention rules.

Closing the browser, losing a network connection after successful delivery, or choosing not to publish an article does not automatically reverse a properly completed purchase. Reopening that same purchased report should not trigger another research charge.

8. A low-CPC finding is not always a failed search

A critical difference exists between market-feasibility research and high-CPC opportunity research:

Market-feasibility report: The purpose may be to establish whether a topic has strong or weak advertiser demand. A well-supported report finding that CPC is low can still be a valid result, even if the finding is disappointing.

High-CPC opportunities report: The offer may promise a stated minimum number of relevant keywords meeting disclosed CPC, volume, intent or country filters. If those minimum qualifying results are not delivered, the request must be assessed against its advertised success or restoration criteria.

The checkout description—not a later subjective expectation—should determine whether the promised research was supplied. We will not present weak results as proven high-CPC opportunities simply to avoid a refund.

9. What counts as a failed research request?

Under the intended Search Success Guarantee, a request may qualify for full release or restoration of its reserved credits when JustGroupLink cannot deliver its expressly promised minimum service. Examples include:

  • A platform processing error that prevents the requested report from being produced.
  • A qualifying upstream research-provider error that prevents delivery.
  • A report that is irrecoverably unavailable, corrupted or materially unusable.
  • Failure to meet the specifically advertised minimum qualifying results for that research product.
  • A payment or billing error that causes a charge without the corresponding deliverable.

An external provider may still charge JustGroupLink for a failed provider call. That upstream expense is a business cost and does not automatically justify charging the customer for a promised report that was not delivered.

10. What if the report is incomplete but partly useful?

Sometimes research produces a meaningful report that falls below the full advertised specification. The appropriate response may be a corrected report, a no-extra-cost retry within a defined limit, or an optional reduced-price offer.

A partial report should not be automatically billed at the full quoted price when the published minimum has not been met. If a lower-priced option is offered, the customer should be able to accept or decline it before any reduced final charge is made. Where a qualifying replacement or acceptable alternative is not delivered, the applicable reserved credits should be restored.

The system must never silently impose an additional fee to complete the originally approved request.

11. What happens when no useful keyword matches the filters?

Before sending a paid provider request, the system should check obvious input errors, unsupported countries and unreasonable or incompatible filters where practicable. It may suggest widening the filter or trying a related seed keyword before incurring an API cost.

If a high-CPC report explicitly promises qualifying keywords and none are obtained, its restoration conditions apply. If the customer instead orders an honest market-feasibility report with no minimum qualifying keyword guarantee, a supported finding of low or absent demand can still satisfy that product’s description.

This distinction protects customers while discouraging repeated no-cost probing of paid APIs.

12. Invalid requests, cancellations and duplicate submissions

Where technically possible, a customer should be able to correct or cancel a request before a billable operation begins. Once provider processing has started, cancellation may not always be possible; the applicable quote and mandatory consumer rights still apply.

The platform should use unique request identifiers to prevent accidental double submission and to reconcile uncertain provider responses before retrying a paid request. Repeatedly clicking the same purchase button should not generate multiple charges for the same accepted transaction.

If a duplicate charge is confirmed, the duplicate must be corrected or restored as appropriate.

13. Saved reports and marketplace purchases

There is a difference between commissioning new research and unlocking an already prepared report. The price and freshness of either product should be disclosed before purchase.

A previously purchased report should remain available in the customer’s account under the applicable access and retention conditions without a second unlock charge. A new, distinct report or a newly commissioned update may have a new, separately accepted price.

If a purchased report is missing, materially corrupted or materially different from the description shown at checkout, the customer may qualify for correction, replacement, appropriate credit restoration or another remedy under the Refund and Credit Policy.

14. How the optional 15% CSV-contributor discount works

Where the optional contribution programme has been lawfully enabled, a blogger may qualify for a 15% discount on one eligible future research purchase after submitting a new, valid historical publisher-performance CSV and separately authorizing any eligible derived insights for permitted shared research.

A customer can use available private CSV analysis without granting shared commercial use permission. Choosing not to contribute does not remove access to the ordinary service; it simply means the optional contribution discount is not awarded.

To protect fair pricing, the contribution programme should verify the report, reject duplicate submissions, enforce frequency limits and apply the discount only within the permitted 5× cost floor. The discount is not a cash payment, is not automatically earned by uploading any file, and is unavailable while the programme is disabled.

Original reports, publisher identities and identifiable earnings must not be made visible to competing users through the contribution programme. Separate Privacy and Data Contribution terms apply.

15. Does JustGroupLink charge for a failed search even if the provider charged it?

For a purchased product that qualifies as failed under the advertised Search Success Guarantee, our intended rule is no final customer credit charge for the failed promised deliverable. Any provider charge incurred by JustGroupLink is recorded internally as an operating cost.

This makes it especially important that the platform use careful provider limits, relevance checks, sensible minimum criteria, request rate limits and fault monitoring. The goal is fairness to buyers without enabling automated abuse of paid research resources.

16. What is the difference between restoring credits and refunding money?

These are separate processes:

Credit restoration means returning previously reserved or wrongly deducted JustGroupLink usage credits to the customer’s internal balance. It does not send money to a bank account or card.

Monetary refund means returning an eligible payment through Paystack or another approved payment provider, subject to applicable laws, provider procedures, verification and the circumstances of the purchase.

Buying a credit package is different from spending credits on research. A failed research request ordinarily calls for the appropriate research-credit adjustment; a disputed, duplicate, unauthorized or legally refundable top-up may require separate payment-level review.

No blanket statement here removes mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer-remedy rights.

17. What if money was taken but the credits did not appear?

If a customer pays for a credit package but does not receive the corresponding credits, they should not immediately pay again. First, check the wallet’s recent transactions and any payment confirmation message. If the purchase remains missing, contact support with the payment reference, date, currency and account email.

Our team should reconcile the payment with the merchant provider before adding missing credits or arranging an appropriate refund. Verified transactions should not be credited twice, even if duplicate payment notifications are received.

Please do not send card numbers, CVVs, banking passwords, one-time codes or secret payment credentials to our support email.

18. What if the research stops halfway or the page reloads?

A website session may expire, a browser may close or a network request may time out while provider work is still underway. A browser error does not always mean that the provider request failed.

The platform should check the request ID and provider status before submitting a potentially billable retry. If a qualifying report was already completed and saved, the customer should receive access to that existing report without a duplicate charge. If processing did not produce the required deliverable, the applicable restoration or review process should follow.

Where an automated outcome is uncertain, the charge should be reconciled before being finalized—not guessed from a browser message.

19. Can research credits expire, be transferred or be withdrawn?

Credits are meant solely for eligible JustGroupLink services, not as withdrawable or transferable money. The actual validity or expiration rules for purchased and promotional credits must be clearly stated at checkout and in the live account terms before such limits are enforced.

Promotional credits and paid credits may need separate ledger treatment. Any expiration, closure, refund or forfeiture rule is subject to applicable consumer law and to the terms disclosed to the customer when the credit was acquired.

We do not announce an unverified expiration period or promise perpetual credit availability in this guide.

20. Your research findings are evidence, not earnings guarantees

Google Search advertiser CPC estimates do not equal Google Ad Manager eCPM, AdSense Page RPM or any publisher’s expected earnings. Historical eCPM data can change with audience geography, device, demand, content, time and ad delivery conditions.

Article titles, keyword clusters and opportunity scores are research aids—not guarantees that an article will rank, attract traffic or produce a certain revenue amount. Customers should verify factual claims, especially those involving finance, insurance, health, immigration and legal requirements, before publishing.

An accurately described research report does not become refundable solely because a published article earns less than expected.

21. How to request a credit review or refund

Contact info@justgrouplink.com or admin@justgrouplink.com with the email subject “Research Credit Review — JustGroupLink”.

Include the following if available:

  • The email address associated with your JustGroupLink account.
  • The research request or transaction reference.
  • The date of the request and the research product purchased.
  • The number of credits reserved or deducted.
  • A concise explanation of the problem, with a redacted screenshot if useful.
  • Whether you are requesting a report correction, credit restoration or monetary-payment review.

For security, never email passwords, API keys, complete payment card details, verification codes or confidential uploaded publisher reports unless a secure collection method has been explicitly arranged.

We will assess the available request, payment and delivery records and explain the applicable outcome. We do not state an unverified guaranteed response timeframe in this guide.

22. Common questions

Will I lose credits if DataForSEO returns an error?

When an error means the promised report cannot be delivered and the request qualifies under the advertised failure policy, the relevant reserved credits should be restored, even if JustGroupLink incurred an upstream cost.

What if my keyword has a low CPC?

Low CPC alone does not make a general market-feasibility report defective. If you purchased a high-CPC report that promised specific minimum qualifying results, the disclosed success conditions will determine the remedy.

Can I use the same purchased report again?

Yes, you should be able to reopen the same saved report from your account without an additional unlock charge, subject to the service’s disclosed retention and access terms.

Can I transfer unused credits to another blogger?

No. Our research credits are intended to be nontransferable usage units tied to the customer’s account.

Can I demand that 100 credits be exchanged for one US dollar in cash?

No. The 100-to-$1 relationship defines nominal research service purchasing value, not cash redemption.

Do I get 15% off simply because I upload a CSV?

No. The optional reward requires a verified, genuinely new qualifying submission and separate consent for permitted research contribution. The reward programme must also be active.

Will a refunded provider search automatically refund my Paystack payment?

No. An internal research-credit restoration and a monetary refund of a credit-package purchase are different transactions and have separate review procedures.

How do I know the final charge?

The account history should show the original quote, any reservation, the final charge, any credits released or restored, and the corresponding research request ID.
